Germany Indonesia Agree to Boost Tourism

Indonesia and Germany agreed to increase cooperation in pepariwisataan industry to help grow a very important industry in economic development.

The deal was presented by the Ambassador of Indonesia to Germany Eddy Pratomo after a bilateral meeting between the Director General of Tourism Marketing Dr. Sapta Nirwandar Kembupar and Head of Tourism Policy Division, Ministry of Economics and Technology Germany, Werner Loscheider, at the Indonesian Pavilion at the biggest tourism promotion event in the world, ITB Berlin 2011 .

Counsellor Embassy in Berlin, Ayodhia G.L. Kalake in his press statement received by Antara on Saturday (12 / 3) mentions, the flow of tourists from and to Indonesia and Germany's growing is something to be development driven.

In an interview with the media, Mr Eddy Pratomo also stated that the partnership with the German government, especially in granting visas become a very important factor for the two countries in increasing tourist visits. Cooperative partnership between the two countries in the field of tourism should be developed, the Ambassador said.
