Tirtosari Waterfall is located about 2,5 Km southwest side from Sarangan Lake, can be gone through ride horse or by foot. At this Tirtosari Waterfall location can be enjoyed beauty natural, water that flow from about 50 M height downward through a slot that flanked by precipitous stones give a beautiful view and it interesting. According to public belief if we enjoy the Waterfall Tirtosari we earn to ageless and beautiful.

Kebon Rojo


Kebon Rojo (king garden) is family recreation and amusement centre that resides in Blitar Mayor duty house complex and reserved for common public / tourist, freely. There are various stepped animals in the garden, playground, relaxing place, actor appreciation podium that has background of one century ‘Bung Karno’, water fountain and various crops types of step that functioned as town’s lungs.

If you often have recreation with your family, try to visit this area. Enjoy its fresh air and bring your children here. You can also take some picture with the animals or the plants. Popoh Beach

Popoh beach is the interesting tourism object in Tulungagung regency. In this tourism object, you can enjoy the beautiful of nature scenery, astonished with a thousand temples; enjoy the swimming pool, and fauna. This tourism object has managed by the region government of Tulungagung, together with Retjo Pentoeng Cigarettes Company.

In this Popoh Beach is also equipped with lodges facility, fish market, marine tourism, and a few places for fishing. The communities around always held a traditional ceremony called ì Labuh Semboyoî by wash away sacrifice of two goatís head to the sea for the ìrulerî of south sea (Indonesia Ocean). That ceremony is aimed to get a lot of fish from south sea.

There is onyx handicraft place as Tulungagung souvenirs and located along the road way to Popoh, Boyolangu, Campurdarat, Besuki. We can reach it by motorboat to walk around Sidem Beach, Klatak, Gemah and Bayeman. Popoh Beach is presents tourism a lot and has playground for the kids, smooth spoon beach, quay wall, sea fish market, seafood, etc. The other tourism facilities of Popoh beach is lodges for the visitors who want to stay here for a while and enjoy Popoh beach longer. The place of fishermen is at east side and stick out to sea. If we lucky, we can see the fishermen get their fish from sea and sell it with affordable price.

Almost every holiday and red day, this tourism object is always full of visitors, both from Tulungagung around also foreign tourists.

Bukittinggi " The Most Relaxing City In Sumatra


Bukittinggi is West Sumatra’s center of culture and tourism, nestled in the highlands north of the provincial capital of Padang. It is a pleasant two-hour drive (90 km) from Padang through the gorgeous Anai Valley up to Agam Plateu. Located 930 meters above sea level, it has a cool climate and is surrounded by three volcanoes: Tandikat, Singgalang and Merapi.

The central landmark is the town’s clock tower, dubbed by the local people as Jam Gadang (Big Clock). It overlooks the market square, a beehive of activity and fantastic place to do some souvenir shopping. Also worth visiting is the Rumah Gadang Museum, a traditional extended family house built in the 19th century.

There are dance performances at the museum's open stage every Sunday and on public holidays. Night dance performances are at Sliguri. You might also want to check out the bullfights at Padang Lawas (6 km south of Bukittinggi) every Tuesday at 5.00 p.m.

Getting There

From Jakarta International Airport to Minangkabau International Airport in Ketaping, the flight will take about 2 hours. After you've arrived you can use a taxi or bus to Bukittinggi.

Getting Around

Taxis and buses are available. A rented car with chaffeur is the best choice if you prefer privacy. Horse carriages or sado are colorful, charming transportation to move around town.

To Do

Visit one of the landmarks of the city, the Bukittinggi "Big Clock" or better-known as Jam Gadang. You can also visit Harau nature reserve, the Pagaruyung Minangkabau palace and Lake Singkarak.

To Stay

There are various Inns and Hotels in Bukittinggi. If you are looking for a star hotel, Novotel Coralia Bukittinggi offers a grand view of the beautiful Anai valley, while Lima's Hotel, Hotel Asia and Hotel Denai are classified locally as 'superior hotels'.

To Eat

Simpang Raya, Jl. Muka Jam Gadang. This large, popular restaurant has good-quality Padang food plus a basic Indonesian menu with soup, rice or noodle dishes. Bear in mind that most of the dishes are spicy, do ask before you eat to avoid embarrassment (also bowel distress) if you cannot stand hot food streaked with chilis.

Under the Bridge Restaurant, Jl. A. Yani. This is a slightly upmarket travelers' restaurant serving steaks, pasta, pizza, apple pie and chocolate cake.

To Buy

Lively Pasar Atas (Upper Market), just south of the clock tower, is lined with stalls and shops selling everyday goods and souvenirs.

Located on Jl. Minangkabau 19, this area has a huge range of textiles from Sumba and Irian Jaya to king sticks from North Sumatra.

Tips

Though the horse carriage is far more expensive than the 'ojek', it is very popular with the locals, especially since it can carry the whole members of one’s family.

Good varieties of restaurants are situated on or close to the city. Rendang and Soto Padang are favorites. Rendang is made of beef soaked in spicy sauce. Soto Padang is relatively mild if you do not add extra sambal or chili sauce on it. For those who prefer bland food, Ayam Pop is a dish not to be missed.

Gedung Sate Bandung


The evaluation of the government to change some of departments from Batavia city to Bandung city was a huge beat for the development of the city. First, in year of 1914, the Department of Defense was transported, and then in year of 1920 the Government Department now called as Gedung Sate followed.

Because of the extraordinary ornament on the roof of Gedung Sate, with a bit similarity to the stick of sate (Indonesian Food), It’s called as Gedung Sate. The buildings was built with the total cost around 6 millions gulden. It is the first building that made by supported actual technology in Indonesia.

With wonderful shaped of the building-complex, designed by of the architect J. Gerber (1921), both ornaments of western and also eastern architecture were incoperated. In 1925, Gedung Sate was the only big building around Bandung.

Maharani Cave

Maharani Cave, is located in Tanjung Kodok sea tourism area, Paciran district Lamongan regency, about 200 m from Tanjung Kodok gateway fringe the roadway to east. About 50 m in the south of the street, there is stone that its soil is tire to form the bank that has downwards. Here, some labourers had mine the coral soil, phosphate material and dolomite fertilizer that had sold out of Paciran region. On this area, is a countryside road, which is the footpath, and every day passed by non irrigated dry field farmers, the stone mineworker workers, also once in a while is crowded passed the boy scouts who performing a camp around the area.

This Maharani Cave found by 4 labourers who being led by Mr. Sugeng. This cave had found on 6 Augusts 1992. The name of this cave had selected by the situation of the beautiful cave like a palace from a beautiful queen. Before the invention, one of the members, had dream, she had met with a beautiful woman who had a beautiful as the property of a queen that called Maharani. The queen seems to be a head time door of the cave that had found. The name of this empress has specified by the fact of this cave condition. In platform of the cave named Paseban Maharani, there is stone which has crown form, the property of a queen, which named “Selo Mahkota Maharani”. This beautiful cave room also alike an empire palace of subterranean that is full of graven pillar and roof.

The situation of the nature cave of Maharani Palace is stay at 200 m from Java seashore residing in Tanjung Kodok area, Paciran district, Lamongan regency. This cave is easily to visit and fluent to obtain the transportation towards to the location.
